After fulfilling his worldly responsibilities, Shri Ajitnath renounced material life and engaged in prolonged meditation and severe austerities. According to Jain belief, he attained Moksha at Shri Sammed Shikharji, making this Tonk a sacred site of spiritual triumph and self-mastery.
