Sammed Shikharji is the holiest pilgrimage site in Jainism, located atop Parasnath Hill in Jharkhand. It is revered as the place where 20 of the 24 Jain Tirthankaras, including Lord Parshvanatha, attained moksha (liberation). Rising to about 1,365 meters, it is the highest peak in Jharkhand and symbolizes ultimate spiritual ascent, renunciation, and enlightenment. For Jains, a pilgrimage to Sammed Shikharji is a deeply sacred journey of faith, discipline, and devotion.
