Shri Digambar Jain Dharamshala, Madhuban was established to serve Digambar Jain pilgrims visiting Sammed Shikharji, the holiest tirth where twenty Tirthankaras attained moksha. Founded by Digambar Jain sanghs from Bihar and neighboring states, the dharamshala emerged as a disciplined resting place aligned with strict Digambar traditions. Over the years, as the number of yatris increased, the facility expanded gradually while maintaining simplicity and spiritual restraint. The dharamshala has long supported pilgrims undertaking the arduous hill yatra, providing a calm and spiritually focused environment that reflects the austere ideals of the Digambar path.
