Yatra Discipline Guidelines

Dress Code

Wear modest, simple clothing that reflects discipline, respect, and spiritual seriousness.

Silence

Maintain silence to support meditation, self-control, and the sacred atmosphere of yatra.

Footwear Rules

The yatra is traditionally performed barefoot; footwear is strictly prohibited.

Photography Rules at Sammed Shikharji

Photography at Sammed Shikharji is governed by spiritual discipline and temple maryada. As this is a sacred Siddha Kshetra, visitors are expected to maintain reverence and restraint at all times.

Photography is strictly prohibited inside all Tonks, Jal Mandir, temples, caves (Guha), and sanctified inner premises. This preserves the sanctity of meditation spaces and respects centuries-old Jain traditions.

In outer areas, pathways, and certain open locations, photography may be permitted only where explicitly allowed by local trust authorities. Flash photography, videography, reels, drones, tripods, or any commercial use of cameras are not allowed anywhere on the hill.
